Edo, Flowers of Ueno, Mt. Toei Cherry Blossoms Tying, No. 2 - Charming print of a young mother holding her little boy, who ties a poem sheet to a branch of a blossoming cherry tree, his sandals lying on the ground below. A courtesan in an elegant kimono watches, while two men dance in the background under falling petals. The inset shows the Monjudo Buddhist temple complex at Ueno in Edo. A lovely springtime image with excellent color and detail, including burnishing in the black railings.

Image Size - 12 3/4" x 8 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with nice color and detail as shown. Backed with somewhat stiff paper. A couple tiny wormholes, repaired. Please see photos for details.
