Clear Weather after Snow at the Former Inner Castle Compound

Comments - Handsome scene of a procession of soldiers on horseback, riding single file along a snowy street. A man stands guard at left, walking through the snow in tall boots, the collar of his coat pulled high around his neck. A castle tower rises high above stone walls of a compound in the background as the line of soldiers stretches into the distance. An interesting Meiji era city view.

Image Size - 8" x 12 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two vertical folds. Slight separation along horizontal fold at bottom edge, small wormhole and a couple holes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
