The Precincts of Narita-san Temple in Shimosa Province, 1859 - Handsome view of the precincts of Narita-san Temple in Shimosa Province. In the foreground, traveler make their way up and down a steep, stepped road lined with teahouse decorated with red paper lanterns. Beyond the clouds, the entrance gate to the temple can be seen at center right, flanked by stone lanterns, with steps leading to temple buildings nestled among the tall pine trees. An attractive design, nicely composed.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Wormhole, two small holes, repaired. Small spot, a few ink marks, a couple light creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
