Segawa of the Ogiya

Comments - Beautiful Eishi portrait of the courtesan Segawa of the Ogiya, smiling happily as she looks ahead, one hand resting gracefully on her collar. She wears a blue outer robe over a pale pink kimono with a netted and floral pattern, and a red under robe with a light blue collar. Her hair is pulled back into a sleek bun adorned with a large comb, many slender hairpins, and a pink ribbon. A lovely image with fine line work in the hair and wonderful handling of the translucent comb. With a shimmering silver mica background.
